South African Fynbos Cocktail

When South African Bar Tender came up with The Fynbos cocktail, there was no question that it was going to be a big hit. It is simple enough to make and taste as good as it looks. So let’s take out the shakers and get down to business.

Fynbos cocktail
Yields1 Serving
 50 ml South African Brandy
 50 ml Rooibos tea
 25 ml sugar syrupMix 1 part boiling water and 2 parts sugar, stir to dissolve and let it cool.
 12.50 ml ginger liqueur
 A dash of bitters (optional)

Chill a martini glass, shake brandy, Rooibos tea, honey, sugar syrup and ginger liqueur.

Strain into martini glass, finish off with a lemon twist on top. Eugene recommends Butlers Ginger Liqueur
