Rfissa is a popular feast dish in Morocco that is served during various traditional celebrations. It is traditionally served with chicken and lentils and fenugreek seeds, msemmen, meloui or day-old bread, and the blend of Ras el hanout.

 4 medium onions
 68 cloves of garlic
 2 bay leaves
 a bunch of cilantro and parsley
 4 tbsp Rasselhanout (spice mix )
 2 tbsp turmeric
 2 tbsp ground ginger
 2 tbsp salt
 1 tsp black pepper
 ½ cup fenugreek
  cup green lentils
 ½ cup good quality olive oil
 water
To make the bread
 1 lb all purpose flour
 salt
 warm water
 ½ cup vegetable oil
 ½ cup butter
