Assidet Zgougou. It is a cream of grains of Aleppo trees that we particularly make during the celebration of Prophet Mohamed birthday. This event is largely celebrated in North Africa with religious praises and Coran recitations along with family gathering and assida sharing with family, neighbors, and friends.

 500 g finely ground grains of Aleppo tree
 1.5L of water (I prefer 1350ml of water)
 1 tbsp of water of geranium flower
Pastry Cream (crème pâtissière)
 2 egg yolks
 ½L of milk
 3 to 4 tbsp of sugar
 3 tbsp corn starch
 1 tsp of water of geranium flower
Decoration
 Ground hazelnuts,
  pistachioalmonds

Ingredients
