The role of Managing Executive: Digital Information Technology is to provide Information Technology leadership and specifically as it relates to the Vodacom Digital business requiring focus and acceleration of their deliverables.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Define and deliver Vodacom Digital Information Technology Strategy:
Lead and manage the Vodacom Digital Information Technology, appropriately aligned with Vodafone Global and Vodacom Group Information Technology strategy and stakeholder requirements.
Deliver projects enabling business unit strategy.
Ensure the availability and performance of the Business Support System landscape
Deliver on business requirements and Information Technology operational demands in the most efficient and effective way.
Accountable for the design and delivery of Business Support Systems and Solutions for the above business unit.
Accountable for Acceptance, Integration, and Production Deployment.
Ensure the definition and implementation of the target Information Technology architecture in alignment with the Vodacom Information Technology Architecture
Align deliverables with Vodacom Online Information Technology strategy
Establish strong collaboration with the relevant Vodacom Information Systems Teams
Lead, motivate and develop Digital Channels Information Technology teams, ensuring they have clarity of direction and support in prioritising demands.
Coach, develop and performance manage people and identify key talent.
Embody and embed the Vodacom Way behaviours.
Create a positive environment of change readiness and excellence.
Work across the Vodafone Group to deliver best practices locally.
Must Have Technical/professional Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
An advanced Telecommunications or Information Technology or similar degree is essential
An MBA will be advantageous
Minimum 15 years experience working in Telecommunications and Information Technology.
Minimum 10 years management and senior leadership experience in Information Technology Operations & Development.
Excellent understanding of the telecommunications and Information Technology market
Substantial technological background, gained in global, multi-cultural organisations
Substantial knowledge of business processes and their integration
Distinct analytical and systematic thinking
Ability to communicate complex technical dependencies comprehensively on Executive Management Level
Ability to communicate complex subjects in a simple way.
