Day 1: Transfer to Kisoro

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked by representatives from Prime tours Uganda.Embark on journey en route to BwindiImpenatrable National Park in Kisoro district which covers about 484km and takes 7 to 8hours driving. Make a stopover in Mbarara town to visit Igongo Cultural Center and to have lunch atAgip motel/Café Havana/Shaheen restaurant. Also in Kabale we shall briefly go to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy the panaromic view of this deep lake.Continue journey to Kisoro district.

At the arrival at the park, go for the Batwa trail experience. The Batwa pygmies are believed to have been the first inhabitants of Bwindi forest. And they have such a rich cultural background that is quite interesting. Dinner and overnight stay Gorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge/Volcanoes Safari Lodge Bwindi

Day 2: Gorilla trekking

After your early morning breakfast, head to Nshongi camp the home for gorilla tracking in Rushaga. You will be briefed before you embark on the adventurous Gorilla tracking experience. Enjoy your packed lunch and continue with the gorilla trek. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge/Volcanoes Safari Lodge Bwindi

DAY 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have your early morning breakfast. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the southern sector of the National Park. After reaching the park, check in at the lodge and then proceed toIshasha sector which is famous for the Tree-Climbing Lions. Enjoy your packed lunch.

After lunch, look out for other game like buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, and Ugandakob to name but a few. A swamp walk is also quite rewarding as this area as it has numerous bird species that include Swamp flycatcher, Palm-nut vuture, Pel’s fishing owl, collared pratincole, shoebill stock among others. Turn back at the lodge to relax.Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge/Kyambura Gorge lodge/Marafiki Safari lodge.

Day 4: Depart to Kampala

Take your early morning breakfast at 7:00am. Go for pre-arranged boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This channel links two giant lakes that is, Lake Edward and Lake George. This channel is home for a large number of hippos and numerous other aquatic animals.

After the launch cruise exit the park and embark on journey to Fort portal town where you shall have lunch at Gardens restaurant/food Set Go/AmaaniRwenzori, and thereafter embark on the journey to Kampala.

2 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour

Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the western Uganda in Kasese and it is approximately to 410km that takes around 7 to 8 hours from Kampala. The Park has a variety of wildlife and has the most popular Savannah reserve. The variety of habitats such as the Savannah grassland, forests, lakes and wetlands, this provides a setting of an extensive of a large mammals and primates. The four of the BIG FIVE is present apart from Rhinos.

Day 1: Transfer to Kasese

In the early morning after breakfast, start the journey from Kampala to the west via Masaka-Mbarara highway. Stopover at the equator for photos and buying handcrafts you may need on the trip.Continue with journey to Mbarara, the land of milk, honey and long horned cows. Lunch in Mbarara town at Agip motel/Café Havana/Shaheenrestaurant and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

On arrival you will go for an evening boat cruise, this will offer you with the sights and sounds of the Park’s rich aquatic life, large hippopotamuses dripping in waters, fierce Nile crocodiles basking on the channel banks for warmth from the sun, the Pied kingfishers and others. Dinner and overnight stay Mweya Safari Lodge/Kyambura Gorge lodge/Marafiki Safari lodge.

Day 2: Game drive

Early morning breakfast and off you go to Kasenyi plains. This is the most remote area in the park yet rewarding when visited. It’s famous for tree climbing lions. Other mammals also inhabit the savannah grasslands and they include buffaloes, elephants,antelopes, bushbuck among others.

The swamp in this section is endowed with numerous bird species that include the rare shoebill stock, collared pratincole, palm-nut vuture, pel’s fishing owl to name but a few.

Lunch in Kasese town at Jambo!Café/Café Olimaco& Restaurant/Modern Foods restaurant.Proceed to Kampala via Fortportal.

This 1-day safari will take you to Lake Mburo National Park which is among Uganda’s smallest National Parks. The park has a variety of wildlife species including the Impalas, topis, oribis, the defassa water buck, bush bucks, the common duikers, zebras, bofor reed buck, giraffes, kobs, antelopes, birds and many more.

This National Park was gazette in 1993 as a protected hunting ground and up graded into National Park in 1983 to encourage the conservation of both vegetation as well as wildlife. Being a home to 5 lakes, these lakes act as habitats to many animals species especially the crocodiles and hippos and other animals are always found at the shored as well as birds.

The savannah lake also has two primate species including, the olive monkey and the velvet Monkey. The Hyena are sometimes spotted during the night as well as the leopard and the side stripped jackal.

The  Shedrick Wildlife Trust – The Elephant Orphanage

Here people go about the task of rehabilitation and rearing orphaned babies. Watching baby elephants feeding and playing at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Orphanage is something not to be missed. The baby elephants trot along with floppy trunks and flappy ears looking as cute as can be! They chase each other get stroked by the visitors and get up to all sorts of mischief. They suckle milk from their bottles and generally make fantastic entertainment for an hour every day

Giraffe Centre:

Giraffe centre, was founded in 1979, is the creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, and is where the Rothschild’s giraffe was saved from extinction. The centre is located within the grounds of the Giraffe Manor of indigenous forest, and as well as the many giraffe that wander about the grounds, the centre is home to also warthog, bush buck, and tree hyrax. Visitors get an opportunity to come into close contact with these tall graceful giraffes and feed them and receiver the Kiss of Africa
